Our company was a pioneer in water recovery by implanting a sub-irrigation system with gutters for potted plants.

In 2003, we were innovators by introducing a sub-irrigation system with gutters for potted plant production. Besides contributing to superior product quality, this type of irrigation also allows us to achieve significant annual savings in water, fertilizers and fungicides.

By only watering the root zone, we eliminate the potentially harmful effects of water and fertilizers on the foliage and on the flowers. The result is improved appearance and quality of the potted plants.

Currently there is no legislation in place obliging companies to recycle irrigation water. However, since we worry about the preservation of natural resources, we chose to incorporate this project into an ongoing process of continuous improvements to our irrigation systems.
